What the Heck Am I Doing: 2019

It’s January, and I’m already blessed with a full docket of collaborations for the year to come.

HERE THEY ARE:

1. The Buffalo Play. COLLABORATION. I'm dramaturging this wonderful new play as it finally goes into production this spring and summer in Missoula, MT and in Manhattan NY at The Tank NYC. For more info, visit the MT+NYC Collaborative: http://www.mtnyccollaborative.org/

2. The Clockmaker. COLLABORATION. I hope to help realize a script out of a wonderful concept by filmmaker Samer Halabi Cabezon. I'm really excited to think about text-for-film and what that allows, and to work with my dear friend Shane McMillan who will be doing cinematography.

3. BROKEN GRASS. A new play I'm writing about family, death, and queerness in Montana, and the supernatural entities we who live here create to cope with how white people have colonized it. Part 2 of WESTERN ANIMUS.

4. Homestead Project with BBD and Laine Bonstein COLLABORATION. I'm thrilled to be dramaturging this site-specific dance theatre piece in spring/summer.

5.  Goat Girl. COLLABORATION. Mia Soza is a genius and she's making an amazing new myth and if I'm lucky, she'll let me help her write it.

6. HOT SPRINGS MURDER VIGNETTES. Montana weirdness. More info forthcoming.
